Living My Alaska started as a dream, to capture the raw beauty and honest challenges of life in the Last Frontier.
From rugged mountains to quiet tundra, we’ve embraced the work, wonder, and rewards of carving out a life here.
Through our blog and YouTube channel, we share what it’s really like to live off the land in Alaska: hunting, harvesting, homesteading, and finding meaning in the wild.

Bennett and Dawn are the husband-and-wife duo behind Living My Alaska. After leaving the Lower 48 to start a new life in the Last Frontier, they found more than just a change of scenery, they found a calling.
With a deep faith, a strong partnership, and a willingness to learn by doing, they’ve built a life rooted in resilience, family, and the natural world.
Through every story, video, and shared experience, they invite others to explore what it means to live closer to the land and to each other.
